A Precisely Built Belt Grinder

A powerful, 2 HP 3-phase motor provides power directly to the driving pulley. It is precisely balance that results in vibration-free work. The contact pulley at the business end of the grinder has cooling air fins molded into the wheel to keep the belt cool during grinding. Moreover, the belt tracking system is easily accessible to the operator as well as the On/Off switch.

The upper part of the machine is mounted on a pivot that allows the height of the grinding point to adjust for the operator’s comfort.

The Model 3379 is the best option to use for extremely fast stock removal and shaping. A flat surface on the top can be quickly opened for smoothing or polishing flat surfaces. A wide range of belts is available, from 40 grit Zirconia to 120 grit Aluminum Oxide. Other materials (such as silicon carbide) are available on request.

Although the Model 3379 Belt Grinder is new in 2021, it takes us back to our roots. Because in the early ’80s, we were selling one of the first grinders of these types in the US. It was a machine made by a company in Denmark called Steenquist. So, we’ve known for almost 40 years what a useful machine this is.
